Petitioning: Ann Arbor African American Festival

The Ann Arbor African American Festival was organized to help remember the contributions of black business leaders and is held in Ann Arbor’s Historic Black Business District. Join us at the 27th year of this historic Ann Arbor (A2) festival as we collect signatures to get Dr. West and Dr. Abdullah on the 2024 presidential ballot in Michigan!

We'll meet up at 10:00 AM at Sculpture Park in Kerrytown. What to bring:

• Clipboard (legal size, 8.5 x 14 inches)

• Ballpoint pens (blue or black ink)

• Comfortable shoes and Cornel West gear (if you have it)

A few clipboards and ballot sheets will be available, but you'll be provided the files to print as many as you'd like ahead of time. Join in for as little or as long as you'd like. You're welcome to stay until after 4:00 PM (the festival goes through 8:00 PM). There will be music, vendors, and other entertainment. Let's get out there, meet some folks, get signatures, and have fun!
