From 6 to 8pm, there will be a free showing of the film "Where the Birds Fly" -- a film about Gaza under the Israeli occupation-- followed by discussion, for which the film-maker will be present. I will be on-site at least 15 minutes before the film, and for at least 15 minutes after the event is over, to collect signatures from registered NYS voters on ballot petitions to help get Cornel's name on the ballot this fall in NYS. If you are a registered NYS voter and have not already signed such a petition for Cornel or for any other presidential candidate this year, you are eligible to sign. We all should, of course, be respectful of the event and other attendees, and sign without disturbing the main event.
