The Kensington Derby & Arts Festival celebrates human-powered transit, neighborhood artists, and local businesses in Kensington.
Join us to attend this fun event and collect signatures for Dr. West and Dr. Abdullah.
This is a Philadelphia Wide Attraction and thousands of people are expected to attend. You won't want to miss all the great vendors, food, music, art, and MUD!
Your help and support with petitioning here is needed to ensure that PA voters see West/Abdullah on their ballot in November!
Come for as long as you like, any amount of your time is needed and valuable. Don't have petitioning supplies? No worries! Your regional coordinator will ensure you have supplies, make sure you feel comfortable and confident petitioning, and answer any questions you may have. In addition to gathering signatures, we will hand out leaflets to raise campaign awareness.
We strongly recommend walking, taking public transit, or biking. The closest SEPTA stop is the Berks Market-Frankford Line (MFL), and the #5 bus runs along the festival footprint on Frankford Ave. There is also an Indego bike share dock on York St. Street parking is available. However, there aren't many parking lots or garages in the immediate area. There is, however, a paid municipal parking lot about 20 minutes away walking at the corner of Front St and Thompson St.
